Whole Foods 101

We’ve always been fans of Whole Foods. I typically buy all my meats and dairy there. It doesn’t have to break the bank either. The best way to shop Whole Foods is the same as any other store. Shop the ads! Each Whole Foods store has different ads based on what’s in season for that area. For example, here are the weekly specials for our Northern California/Reno area stores. Don’t forget to grab a copy of the Whole Deal on your way in too. This newsletter has great coupons that can be combined with the manufacturer coupon for extra savings.

Another little perk for Whole Foods shoppers: kid ages 2-8 can join the Whole Foods Kids Club, which entitles them to a free treat each visit. Nothing like a free snack to hold the kids over while you shop. Our store always has a smart healthy snack. Samples include juice, cereal bars, fruit snacks, and more. My little girl loves to snack while we shop!

Some markets have amazing bulk deals. So personalize the site by choosing your local store, follow your local Whole Foods on Twitter, or sign up for their email updates. If you regularly shop at Whole Foods, you don’t want to pass up the deals they provide.
