It’s going to be a beautiful weekend here in the Bay Area. I’m really hoping we get out and about to enjoy some fun activities. Here are some free events going on this weekend. These seem to all have consistent national participation- but it is always wise to call your local location to be sure they are participating.
HOME DEPOT KIDS WORKSHOP
Saturday, May 2nd. 9am – 12pm. This Saturday will be a Picket Fence Planter. Austin loves doing these and since he has Soccer on Saturday morning it is nice that we can show up anytime. Go to Home Depot to see this and other upcoming projects.
MICHAEL’S CRAFT EVENTS
Saturday, May 2nd. 1 pm – 3pm. This Saturday’s Freebie is a Mother’s Day Bead Event. There are several other events throughout the week, but a materials purchase will be required for those. You can see these and other upcoming events at Michael’s.
LOWES BUILD & GROW WORKSHOP
Saturday, May 2nd. 10 am. Go to Lowes to sign up your child(ren) for the workshop. This Saturday’s project is a School House. Each child will get an apron and goggles on their first visit and a patch for each project they complete.
