Shopping at Safeway has just taken on a whole new experience for me. Safeway has changed their coupon policy, making it really easy to save even more money. Below you can find the highlights to the policy change. Not every store may be up to date so make sure you print a copy of the new policy before you go.
Here are a few highlights and what it means for us:
8. Safeway will accept valid manufacturer coupons that display another retailer’s logo or name.
(We can finally take all those really great Target coupons and apply them to our Safeway purchase!)
9. Safeway will accept valid Catalina manufacturer coupons that are issued to a customer by another retailer.
(You can now take Walgreens Register Rewards and apply them to your Safway total. This is awesome because my RR always expire before I get to use them. Julia, The Frugal Find, tried this earlier this week and it worked. Check out her video here!)
21. Internet and digital coupons that have been electronically loaded to a Safeway Club Card are automatically redeemed at the time of purchase after the club card number has been entered. All other coupon policies above apply to electronic coupons that are loaded to a club card.
(This one is a little tricky but Charlene at My Frugal Adventures says it’s 100% legit. You can now combine eCoupons and print coupons together giving stacking a whole new meaning.)
Like I said, make sure you take a copy of the new policy with you. Read through it carefully so you know what to expect. Don’t forget to load your eCoupons before you go to get that extra savings.
